Executive Director
C. Benjamin Lattimore
C. Benjamin Lattimore is the current Executive Director at OIC CADI and designed the model for Career & Academic Development Institute (CADI) as an accelerated, alternative high school located in Philadelphia, PA and contracted by the School District of Philadelphia.
The school was developed as a cooperative effort with OIC of America, a non-profit organization founded by the late Rev. Leon Sullivan, designated to serve the community with the mantra of “Helping people help themselves.” OIC CADI first opened its doors on September 7, 2004. This year, 2024, marks the 20th anniversary of OIC CADI.
CADI provides transitional services both academic and developmental to students with diverse backgrounds from underserved communities.
Mr. Lattimore is a native of Washington DC and while working on the Shirley Chilsolm campaign for president, he was asked by Rev. Leon H. Sullivan to stay in Philadelphia. Mr. Lattimore has been in the area ever since. He has been with OIC for over 50 years.
Principal
Hasani A. Hudson
Hasani Hudson is committed to removing roadblocks and barriers that prevent black and brown students from reaching their educational potential. He believes educational equity is the civil rights issue of our time and that all students deserve access to a world class education and the opportunity to experience success after high school.
Hasani was born in Pittsburgh but considers Philly his home. He is an avid Steelers and Eagles fan. Hasani is currently the principal at CADI.
Director of Operations
Lester Lowery
With over ten years of progressive experience in School Counseling and Behavioral Health Rehabilitation Services throughout the Philadelphia and surrounding county area, Lester is a passionate leader, who’s committed to improving upon the social, emotional and academic development of school-age youth.
Lester’s passion, dedication, and commitment have kept him focused on the needs of children and families who are most vulnerable.
With his professional and educational backgrounds from Lincoln and Wilmington Universities, Lester works tirelessly to improve upon the individual’s response to the systems that adversely affect one’s social and emotional development.
Mr. Lowery currently serves as Director of Operations at OIC CADI.
